ABOUT OUR VEILEDS

We have the world's largest veiled chameleon breeding operation and our babies are available year-round. We've been breeding them over 13 years and have learned how to produce the highest quality animals and offer our babies only at a very stable and robust size. We sort by weight once a week to reduce competition and rear our babies under optimal conditions. They don't leave our facility until they are a minimum of 4-5 grams in weight or about 6-8 weeks of age. They are well-started and thrive for our customers. We also offer both low white and high white pied veiled chameleon babies and larger juvenile normal veileds (15-20 grams [6-8" snout to end of tail; 12-16 weeks of age]).

PURCHASING NW ZOO VEILED CHAMELEONS

Veiled chameleons are spectacular, omnivorous chameleons native to Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Unlike many of their tropical cousins, these hardy lizards have adapted to a harsh climate and are tolerant of reduced humidity and cool nights. Juveniles and adults regularly supplement their diets with leafy greens, flowers and other plant matter and do not require drip systems and constant access to moisture.

Our veileds are sold to reptile wholesalers and dealers nationwide in minimum lots of 25. Pacific Northwest pet stores that we service may buy smaller quantities.
